About the Journal
The African Intellectuals Journal (AIJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, interdisciplinary journal that provides a platform for rigorous scholarship by and about members of the global African Diaspora. We invite submissions from scholars, activists, artists, and thinkers whose work contributes to intellectual traditions rooted in African experiences, perspectives, and knowledge systems.
Journal Scope
AIJ publishes original research articles, theoretical essays, book reviews, and commentaries that explore historical and contemporary issues across a wide range of fields including (but not limited to):
