Publication Ethics

Editorial Ethics AIJ follows best practices established by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). We are committed to ethical publishing standards and expect the same from all contributors.

Duties of Authors

  • Ensure the originality of their work and appropriately cite others' ideas and findings
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest
  • Promptly notify the editors of any significant errors discovered post-publication
  • Avoid plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and data fabrication/falsification

Duties of Reviewers

  • Maintain confidentiality of manuscript content
  • Provide objective, fair, and timely evaluations
  • Avoid personal criticism and maintain a scholarly tone
  • Report any ethical concerns or suspected misconduct

Duties of Editors

  • Ensure a fair and unbiased review process
  • Maintain editorial independence and integrity
  • Address allegations of misconduct promptly and transparently
  • Issue corrections, retractions, or clarifications as needed

Plagiarism and Misconduct

AIJ has a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism, data falsification, or unethical research practices. Allegations will be investigated according to COPE guidelines, and manuscripts found in violation will be withdrawn and blacklisted from future publication.

Retraction Policy Articles may be retracted if:

  • They contain significant errors
  • Misconduct is proven
  • Ethical guidelines are breached
